# FASHION VOUCHERS Xmas Party Outfit Blogger Competition

After browsing the internet I came across Fashion Vouchers. They've launched a challenge for bloggers to find the best Christmas Party outfit for £100 and under. Now...when I read this I was excited coz I love putting outfits together (that's all I ever do on Polyvore and ASOS Fashion Finder!).

So basically, all you have to do is pick a merchant from their page and create an outfit! Sounds easy doesn't it? Well it's not that easy when you're indecisive like me!..First I picked ASOS, then Boohoo then Missguided. Then fussy old me went onto New Look and eventually I went back to......ASOS after 675467 years!

My ASOS Xmas party outfit

- Feather clutch : £25 £18.50

Total: £110.49

BUT...with my Fashion Vouchers 10% student discount on ASOS..my total is now...

*drumroll*

£99.44

Now usually, when people think of xmas party outfits..sequins and sparkles tend to be the first thing that pops into everyone's heads! I wanted to be different, I wanted to create an outfit that reflects my personal style. I love this pretty floral lace dress (and if your self conscious about your legs like I am..then you can always pop some tights underneath it!) Christmas parties always have us on our feet dancing, which is why I didn't want to pick the highest heels in the world. I went for these simple mid heel shoes coz I've really got a thing for chunky platforms nowadays...(and don't they just look sooo comfy!)
Now I'm the type of girl who gets tired of holding clutch bags in my hand on a night out, which is why I chose this bag coz it has a chain strap that you can pop over your shoulder!
...to add to my xmas outfit I chose the 2 pack bargain torque necklaces! I think both colours would go with my outfit but I'll probably be standing in the mirror for about an hour trying to decide which one to wear because I'm so fussy! I wanted to add a bowler hat but my budget couldn't stretch that far :-(
...lastly to finish off this look you could add a splash of red nail varnish, a dab of red lipstick, a spritz of your favourite perfume and then you're ready to go!
Hope you like it!

The search for the perfect ankle boots...

For the past few months I've literally been living in my DMs because I've been struggling to find the perfect pair of ankle boots....brown ankle boots to be exact...well the vintage type look. I used to have a pair from River Island, they were a gorgeous pair of tan chelsea boots but because I loved them soooo much, I wore them too much and now they are DEAD. R.I.P boots.

So I've been hunting down for a new pair, I started off looking for another pair of chelsea boots then i decided I'll look for lace up ones instead. I found gorgeous ones on ASOS but when I went back to buy them, they were out of stock. So I've made a note to myself for future reference - "when i see something i like buy it..i can always return it later" Then i turned to eBay, I bought Brown Chelsea Boots and i was so disappointed when I got them because they looked nothing like the picture!..so after returning them i bought another pair. This time they were Vintage Brogue Ankle Boots . I thought to myself, "oh yes i think I've finally found the perfect pair!" But once again, the picture was deceiving and plus they were too big anyway..so i'll be returning them in the week!

After having no luck, I popped into Primark. I found a pair that I tried on back in October but I wasn't too keen on them. The other day I tried them on again and decided to buy it and try it on properly when i get home. I think they're quite a bargain for only £15...but I'm still not 100% sure on them (I'm actually the most indecisive human being ever!)..one thing I do love about these boots is the tartan print inside! It's absolutely lush! x
